These general terms and conditions apply to the sale of products by the ME KAHVI online store (hereinafter "ME KAHVI", "we", "us", or "our") to consumers and business customers (hereinafter "Customer", "you") through the online store at mekahvi.com.

By placing an order, the Customer accepts these terms and conditions. The Customer is advised to review these terms prior to placing an order. ME KAHVI reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The terms in force at the time of placing the order shall apply.

Customer service is available by email or phone during normal business hours.

Orders are placed in the online store by adding products to the shopping cart, providing delivery and contact information, and confirming the order and payment through the checkout process. The customer must be at least 18 years old to place an order in the online store.

A binding agreement is formed between ME KAHVI and the customer once an order confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer. Please check the confirmation carefully and notify us immediately if you notice any errors in the confirmation.

ME KAHVI reserves the right to cancel an order in case of obvious pricing errors, inventory errors, or unexpected delivery issues. In such cases, any payment already made will be refunded in full.

All prices in the online store are stated in euros and include value-added tax (VAT). Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before the order is confirmed.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and typically include debit and credit cards, mobile payments, and online bank payments via our payment service provider. All payments are processed securely through payment gateways.

The order is charged when the order is confirmed. If payment is made by invoice, payment terms are strictly as agreed.

Orders are delivered within 2-5 business days. Delivery methods and shipping costs are shown at checkout before confirmation. Delivery times and carrier options may vary by country.

The risk for the products passes to the customer when the customer receives the products.

The customer should inspect the products upon receipt. In case of damaged or missing items, or defective products, please contact customer service as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of receiving the order, with photos of the defect and packaging.

ME KAHVI will replace the defective product or refund the full purchase price according to applicable consumer laws. ME KAHVI is not liable for indirect damages or damage caused by improper storage or handling.

Consumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the products without giving any reason, according to the Consumer Protection Act.

To exercise the cancellation right, the product must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Opened food products (including coffee) cannot be returned due to health and hygiene reasons.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, unless otherwise agreed. ME KAHVI will refund the purchase price, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned products or proof that the return has been dispatched.

Personal data collected from customers is processed in accordance with the ME KAHVI Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

All content of the online store, including the ME KAHVI name and logo, trademarks, texts, images, product designs, and recipes, belongs to or is licensed to ME KAHVI. Copying, distribution or commercial use of any content without prior written consent is prohibited.

ME KAHVI is not responsible for any delay or failure in delivery caused by events beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure).

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict of law principles.

Disputes are settled primarily through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, consumers may bring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) or initiate proceedings in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.

For wholesale, distribution and other business customers, separate terms and conditions apply as agreed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed, the Consumer Protection Act does not apply, and liability is limited to the purchase price of the products. ME KAHVI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
